Birthday Sponsorship Terms
Effective October 11, 2026
1. One daily auction
You must sign in to bid. One birthday spotlight auction runs each day from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM India Standard Time (IST). Each auction is for the following calendar day’s slot. Enter the person’s name you are celebrating; after payment is verified, the winning sponsor uploads the image and message. The minimum bid is ₹100, and bids must increase in ₹50 increments. Your latest valid bid replaces your earlier bid; bids cannot be withdrawn. The top five bids and the display names or anonymous choice selected by bidders appear on the auction page.
2. Payment and charitable contribution
The highest bidder gets until 8:00 PM IST to pay the winning bid by the UPI details shown on the auction page and submit the transaction reference. StoryProofs manually checks payments. If the winner has not submitted payment by 8:00 PM, the runner-up gets until 10:00 PM IST. A submitted reference is not payment confirmation. StoryProofs pledges 50% of the winning bid toward supporting children in need and charitable causes. The remaining amount supports platform operations and the birthday sponsorship service.
3. Birthday content and publishing time
After payment is verified, the winning sponsor submits one image and a birthday message for admin approval. Approved content is scheduled from 12:00 AM through 11:59 PM IST on the auction’s target date (the day after bidding). To be shown for the full day, the sponsor must submit content and receive approval before that date begins. We may reject, edit for safety, or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive, or unsuitable for the site. You confirm you have permission to submit the image and text and allow StoryProofs to display them on the site. You can request deletion of your post through its dedicated page.
4. Respectful conduct and page controls
Do not post profanity, hate, threats, harassment, impersonation, personal information without consent, sexual exploitation, spam, or trolling. Comments and likes require a signed-in account. Sponsors can turn comments and likes on or off for their page and may delete comments. Users may delete their own comments. StoryProofs may remove harmful content and suspend or permanently ban accounts for serious or repeated abuse.
5. Display and availability
StoryProofs will make reasonable efforts to display approved birthday sponsorships at the scheduled time. Maintenance, technical outages, moderation, or third-party service failures may delay or interrupt display. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular number of views. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
